Teitanblood is indeed freaking insane. Lovely stuff. Check my review. Necros Christos is also great.

In future, please expand on your request. and fwiw, we already have a Behemoth vs. Belphegor poll elsewhere in the arena, making this fairly useless. Behemoth will run away with it, the majority of responses will simply be 1-4 words long, with the occasional Lucas-like user doing the "other" vote.

Agreed with BitterCOld, but for what it's worth:
I'd go with Behemoth or Arkhon Infaustus. Orthodoxyn is simply brilliant, technically sound black/death. I prefer it to any of Behemoth's works, but Behemoth have consistency on their side...

I vote other. How come nobody has thrown out Dissection?! I think they are/were the best blackend death metal band, period. Nothing Behemoth has released has been anywhere near as good as Storm of the Light's Bane. And I'm a Behemoth fan, so this isn't coming from a Behemoth basher.

I'd call Dissection melodic black before blackened death to be honest.

I guess it's really left open to interpretation. But if you look on any site (even here) their genre is catagorized as blackened death.
So given that, I will also have to go with Dissection. The Somberlain and Storm of the Lights Bane are 2 of my favorite albums of all time.

Those two are certainly balckened death. There last outing Reinkaos was melodic death and a bad one at that.

None of those bands particularly excite me. The Axis of Advance, Goatwhore, Portal, Thus Defiled, Spearhead and obviously Akercocke are probably my most played of the genre. Arkhon Infaustus aren't bad from time to time though not that satisfying.
I still hold Storm of the Light's Bane to be blackened melodeath.

I'd have to go with either Necrophobic or God Dethroned, but since neither is on the list I'll go with other.

As I'll be reviewing their latest release, I feel like someone should throw Panzerchrist into the mix.

Panzerchrist is so damn repetitive... Being mostly a thrash fan, I'm used to albums being filled with similar sounding songs, but holy hell, these guys make AC/DC sound like a creative band...

Sacramentum for me. Although I WOULD say its more melodic black metal then black/death, it is rather similiar to Dissection so if we called that blackened death...

How about California's Draconis:

pretty sick shit!!! Maybe not as classic as Dissection/Necrophobic, but still damn good imo...

Dissection is melodic blackened death. I can see the death influences clearly in Storm Of The Light's Bane.
