Man 'N' fukking kicks so much ass, it's thier best cd since Death Unlimited I think. So many powerful songs and Heikki's drumming is fukking amazing as well as Tuomas again pulling out something huge to. This album gonna be getting some serious listening to over the next few days eh.

i thought that CD didn't come out until february? or did you download it?

I downloaded it, I ain't fukking waiting till February 13th to hear it fukk that. Norther is my favourite band and I was to keen to hear it and couldn't wait, but it don't matter cause I will like always be buying a proper copy of it, if not 2 or 3 cause it's Norther After another listen I gotta say this album is seriously fukking cool indeed, Petri Lindroos is most definitely my god

that's cool. i wasn't asking because i was against downloading or anything (i download before i buy so i know i'm not wasting my money), i was just confused about the release date.

Well I'm sure it'll be good, they've only released great stuff. But oh how I want them to return to the sound of their first album. Well well, I'll buy it as soon as it comes out... no illegal downloadings here!

Norther is awesome, i just don't like Till Death Unites Us as much, i hope that they go back to their more agressive sound on Death Unlimited. Time will tell.

i'm not a major fan of theirs or anything, but "N" is a LOT better than till death unites us.

Alright, that's good news, i know that these guys can have potential, but i don't think they used it as much on till death unites us. If it's as good as you say it is then i won't bother to check it out, after all their first album was an impact for me, but i doubt it will be similar.

i wouldn't be able to compare it to their first album because i've never heard it. then again i've only heard "N" twice thus far, but i can say right off the bat that the lyrics aren't as simple-minded as their previous release. at least i haven't heard "fuck you. you're just a piece of shit" yet.

Some of Norther's stuff is actually quite good dude. They're talented when they want to be. You're lucky I'm not a loyal Norther fan

I have listen to their new album "N" a couple of times now and i must say it sucks, but maybe it need another spin!?!

of course COB and Norther is different, but not that different. you can hear many similarity's in their music.

New Norther album sucks horribly...even more than the previous thing. The only way they are like Children of Bodom is perhaps the way in which they totally just wanna be famous....I mean with titles like "We Rock" what the fuck can one expect? Needless to say the music is POOR....VERY poor, and theyre falling into the same trap so many of the "melodic death" bands of old have falled into. Fuck knows what genre of music they are nowadays, anyway this shit sure aint melodic death metal, hardly metal even. Its a bit like spiced up poprock with attitude.

I agree with you on CoB, Alexi is an arse and he can't scream or write lyrics - still the early albums are good music wise.
and to compare Kalmah with CoB.... Kalmah is real Melodic Death while Cob is extreme power metal, Norther do sound a lot like CoB and thank to the new craptastic album they sound more then ever like CoB while there old albums were still good and better then anything CoB did.

Kalmah real Melodic Death? I still and always say real Extreme Power.

i don't think it does. it's just a lack of attention to detail. i mean, "die" as a song title? my dog could come up with a better one. it may involve some growling or barking, but at least it'd be more creative.

i still enjoy their music; it's great for driving, but i don't think they've tapped into their true potential yet. btw, i really like the new drummer's style.

Tell me, is this post a joke...? I am fukking sick of seeing my heroes having shit put on them, if you don't like Norther or thier music then fukk off and don't listen to it. Like all the stupid comments people posted after thier new video was on you tube, why even bother if all your gonna do is just write immature shit with no logical reasoning for it.

Hahaha, ok, lets not get excited. I thought people would assume I'm referring to the unbearably cheesey clean vocals in it, and was asking if they appear throughout the entire album. Lets not lose our shit here.

@harbinger - actually Kride sings in 4 songs on N, and they are Frozen Angel, To Hell, We Rock and If You Go.

@Dr.Rock - so then you shouldn't listen to any Norther cd after Death Unlimited, cause all the ones from Solution 7 onwards have Kride singing clean vocals on them.

lol, i was close. honestly...i can't say i've ever liked one album of their's. "N" isn't that great, but it has some decent songs on it. i probably won't listen to it past the next few weeks though. but frozen angel is one track i have to skip every time. i like clean vocals (sometimes) but he sounds terrible when he sings in lower octaves.
