The kings of the Swedish melodeath scene are back! Consistent as always, they have become one of the record companies' favorite bands: nice songs, huge popularity, unique style and additionally, they publish a new album every 2 to 3 years. Only a few bands assemble all these traits and Amon Amarth is one of them. On the other hand, some experimentation would be welcomed?

Alright! Twilight of the Thunder God was enjoyable, but I would like to see something more with more 'death' and less 'melo'. Maybe a throw back to Fate of Norns, or Once Sent from the Golden Hall? Either way looking forward to this, hopefully album art and more details are out sooner rather than later.

Everything he doesn't like is metalcore. Britney Spears, Elton John, Michael Moore, and green beans are also metalcore, in case you guys didn't know.

Twilight was a great album...not as good as With Oden, but still amazing. Hopefully the new album will surpass it.

I think, Twilight's the best for the present, but i hope, this album'll be more interesting and more brutal.

Hmm... last time they released the album title about four months before the album release, so we probably will stay hungry for quite some time on this one.

I just hope it won't be a lazy "they'll buy it anyway" album, riding on accumulating hype and fame.
AA formula is effectively simple, but with a lazy attitude it becomes fucking transparent. Some songs on "Twilight of the Thundergod" were for me somewhat lukewarm and lacking in passion compared to earlier ones. Some, not all.

Brilliant cover.....I have a feeling that this is gonna top "With Oden" and raise the bar even higher. Well, atleast there's no harm in having high hopes.

Previous album was released in 2008. It's 3 years ago! Even my Amon Amarth t-shirt become faded I'm hungry. Please write new Runes into my Memory! With new great tracks! I wait for some melodic brutality (how this could work together?)
