Not a lot good has come out of Eyjafjallajökull. One thing however might be the postponement of Shrinebuilder's European tour. Because this means that they are on the road at this very moment at the same time as Coliseum, Bison B.C. and Kvelertak. And on the 25th November these two tours clash in the German city of Karlsruhe.

Shrinebuilder probably don't need much of an introduction. The metal super-group comprised of Scott "Wino" Weinrich (guitar/vocals - Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, The Hidden Hand, Spirit Caravan), Al Cisneros (bass/vocals - Om, Sleep, Asbestosdeath), Scott Kelly (guitar/vocals - Neurosis, Tribes Of Neurot, Blood And Time) and Dale Crover (drums - Melvins, Altamont, The Men Of Porn, Nirvana) perfectly blends the talents of its members (as can also be read in this review) which makes them a musical tidbit for every fan of doom, stoner and sludge metal.

Co-headliners Coliseum are probably the least known band of the four, at least for metalheads. The power trio from Kentucky specializes in hardcore punk, has recently released its third album House With A Curse and has already shared the stage with the likes of Converge, High On Fire, Napalm Death and Baroness.
Bison B.C. are also somewhat well-known by now. The Canadians, who have been on tour through Europe last year with Burst and The Ocean, play a dynamic mix of sludge and heavy metal, intense and right in the kisser.
Kvelertak have created quite a buzz here on Metal Storm recently. Their creative hybrid of hardcore punk and black metal has received a lot of critical acclaim and gathered fans and support from both the punk and the (black) metal scene, among them such prominent names as Carpathian Forest's Nattefrost and Taake's Høst.

This nice little concert takes place at the Jubez in Germany's Karlsruhe where you can also acquire the tickets. Tickets at the box office will cost 23 ?. A mail to info@jubez.de or a call to +49 721 935193 might save you some 5 ? though.

Karlsruhe is halfway between Heidelberg and France's Strasbourg and located at the crossing-point of the autobahns A5, A8 and A65.
You can also get there by plane or train. For train timetables, check out the page of the Deutsche Bahn.
The nearest airport would be the Baden Airpark. It is situated about 40 km south of Karlsruhe and is mainly served by low-cost airlines. More information about airlines and destinations can be found on Wikipedia.
