I still listen to LOTR music and enjoy it. it's kind of spiritual music.

Definitely my favorite film composer of this century. The Fellowship of the Ring is probably the best movie soundtrack of all time. What I love most in that film is the use of many different vocalists, each of whom represented a different part and race of Middle-Earth. Howard's awesome.

I also like his "Gangs of newyork" 's soundtrack. it's been made by many genres .

Yup. And let's not forget all the work he's done for Cronenberg's films, Howard is like his personal composer. Cronenberg has good taste.

Some composers seem to know how a "world" sounds, the same with John Williams and Star Wars.
I love him, Shore and Zimmer, they're all really "fantastic"! >.<
