A few weeks into the epic Nile tour, and the band hit Derby. Before the show I went up to Karl's hotel room (catacomb) and entered with the secret knock. He's a large guy with a strong hand, and likes to do things at his own reserved pace. We talked about a few things from touring, to a DVD, Egypt, and the future. Lol He can tell French people by the "bread and cheese" and Italians by "pizza".  I also liked the way he answered the question about long songs.  Nice interview! xD

After seeing this interview now i truly believe that Nile are SO much professionals that they wont ever reach the top. something like cannibal corpse.. i hope they prove wrong but after 6 unsuccessful attempts (and when the best of them come from the past) i guess they wont...

Great interview! Good questions asked and interesting responses from Sanders. In particular, I find it interesting about the observation he makes about American Metal audiences being a lot more "trendy" than European audiences.

As I see it, Karl is neither drunk nor "jet lagged". He's got a flu, already said it was pretty cold. And his voice. Anyway, I think this is a fantastic interview.
