Here is one more small thingy I have just noticed: when the number of votes for a particular album exceeds 1000 (that is becomes 4 digits), and you give it a 10, your vote is shown on top of votes, not to the left as it should be:

EDIT
I just picked the small font size (I use the middle one), and it looks fine. But also another thing is that even using the middle font size by zooming out enough I can get it to look normal. So I do not know whether it is a bug or not.

Clicking on videos returns a webpage that just says, "FALSE". I've been trying to access videos for months now and they still haven't been fixed... : / For the record, this only seems to happen in Firefox. They seem to work in Chrome...

Ya a few of us have complained about the Youtube video FALSE problem...nothing's been done about it. Not sure what the game plan is either.

The Suggest a band check does not seem to honor multiple bands from different countries or types.
I tried to suggest "Ascension" from Germany (a Black Metal band) but it says its already suggested. The only "Ascension" I see is a Power Metal band from the UK.
This seems like a bug.
Anyone else see this?

It's not. It's the way the database is set up - all multiples have their country's abbreviation in square brackets after the band name. You need to suggest the band with square brackets.

Troy, thanks.
I do think that since there IS a country field, the form should either append the field in brackets before the DB check. What's the of having a separate country drop down then?
Minimally it should be documented on the page.

How about someone create some Widget for the central notification of the new iOS 5 with the news and those updates that we receive here on the site?

Thought of an idea where you can '+1' a post if you like it. Sounds good?
Like they have in Google + or Youtube, where it'll show how many people liked the post or not.

Been suggested many times, been rejected just as much.

I have just opened this page, and the thread names for albums did not get updated there from TBA to the actual album names.

Don't ask me why, but you have to actually report each individual thread. Very inefficient but it is what it is.

I think Ivan has already said something like this, but I still wonder whether (or why) it is not possible to write a script that would update album/thread names whenever they are edited.

It's probably possible. It just hasn't been done. You'd have to talk with the programmer himself about it though, since I have no idea about that stuff.

"Avantgarde" in Avantgarde Rock is spelled wrong. It says "Avantgrade" (is that like pre-school?)

Topic titles should be updated automatically. What we have here is the hit counter (completely separate from forum topics). I will make it update automatically as well.
EDIT: done.

Renamed the forum subcategory. Is it spelled wrong anywhere else?

When one goes to an album, which won a Metal Storm Award in a certain category in the past, and clicks on that link, e.g. "The Best Progressive Metal Album Of 2009" for Dream Theater's Black Clouds & Silver Linings, one will be taken to the most recent Metal Storm Awards results (currently, that is 2011).
My suggestion is to make that link take a user to the corresponding year's Awards (in our case, 2009) or even to the particular category (in our case, "Progressive Metal").
I don't know if that is technically possible, but that would be good.

Hi. Wouldn't be useful to enable some evaluation criteria also for the reviews? Like comprehensibility, well written or not, and so on... So that the reader is directed to the reviews of higher quality? Or do you think that does not serve much?

A review is in the eye of the beholder. What one might call "higher quality", the guy next door might call 'utterly crap". So to rank the reviews would serve nobody.

I'm not speaking about the ratings or the writer's thoughts about band/album, just about being well or badly written, and stuff like that...
