I'm out of my element in sludge and post metals, and since someone is debating you Kiwi I'm going to wait to see how this debate plays out between y'all (and/or anyone else who might join in; kinda hoping Joe and/or Rod might jump in on this as I know both of them are quite versed in these genres).

I don't see difference between those 2 genres , unless its not black metal and MS says power , there not big deal, because to me those 2 sounds same

Post-metal has evolved beyond sludge metal, which has rendered your definition obsolete (needs a more accurate descriptor). Cult of Luna has both of these tags as well.

Not quite...post-metal incorporates sludge, it did not evolve from sludge. In fact, several post-metal bands hardly employ any sludge at all.

then what's a difference between music thay play, since Bay Area is not real genre, its region where those bands came from and get name since its thrash (same as teutonic thrash)

I think ambient and neofolk sounds better separated, ambient/neofolk as genre is weird IMO

It goes back and forth between the black metal parts and the almost film score like piano parts. I just thought that since Nhor do the same thing with similar sounds, then Aquilus could count as being the same genre, too. Simply add whatever Nhor's piano parts count as to the 2 already existing genres on Aquilus' page.

Atmospheric sludge is a bit denser than post-metal. Beyond that, I have no idea what the difference is.

Nhor's Upon Which Was Written Within The Stars is basically the same as the self titled. No black, although it does sound a little bit doomy, but no metal, mainly piano like the debut. Ambient neofolk again, I guess.

Could Jucifer get crust added from 2008 onwards. There's 1 song from 2000 album, so it probably doesn't count. I think the 94 ep was a bit crusty, but I can't remember. I'll have to listen to that one again.
