I'm not sure we're on the same page. Here's an example: I take this phrase, "mixed and mastered by Bad English in Arctic Studios," and I change it to "mixed and mastered by Bad English." Is that acceptable? To me the other information just looks like fluff.

Is it necessary to include where albums were mixed/mastered/produced? Personally I think it's enough to include who performed those tasks, whereas where those tasks were completed is irrelevant, but I may be overlooking some hidden rule somewhere. I'm partially basing this assumption on high profile bands on MS.

The location is not necessary, no. But if the location is known, you can add it if you want to.

If the information is known, and is just a simple matter of highlighting a few extra words in a sentence you're already highlighting to copy/paste, then what is the point of intentionally excluding it? Who cares if it's fluff. It's like the end credits at the end of a movie, only here you're giving deserved credit to the studio.

But at the end of the day, you're the one doing the db edit, and no, nobody is going to bitch if you think giving the studio credit for their hard work is too irrelevant to include (hell, odds are no one will even ever notice you intentionally excluded it).

Anomalie has undergone a style change on Refugium. It can be still classified as black metal, but some of it seems uncharacteristic for the genre (I'm not a BM expert but felt the need to discuss). Post-metal has also diminished but the influence still comes up at times. Make sure to listen to both examples.





The debut album is indeed pretty standard post-black.

It seems Stolen Babies was formed in 1997 under the name The Fratellis. Here's a more official source. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a former name because technically The Fratellis briefly disbanded supposedly, although I can't find exact dates. Comments?

Hey, I just visited the page of the German band Hidden In The Fog, and I noticed that they are labelled as "Thrash Metal". Now, I just listened to their last album "Damokles", but to me they sound like some sort of Progressive Black Metal, with clear influences from Emperor's latest works. Here are the links:

I think that avantgarde thrash is rather misleading as a tag for Diablo. To me, I think the key elements to their sound are prog, groove thrash, and melodeath. Perhaps:
- Progressive melodic death metal (1995-)
- Groove thrash metal (1995-)

Thoughts?

Listened to their latest album and I thought I'd bring this up again.

Definitely thrash, but I can't recall any notable melodeath (I've only heard them from Eternium onwards though). I could accept the prog tag too.

Riverside have announced that they won't play heavy metal anymore before releasing their 2015 album,

I think you should add that to the style array, but keep Progressive Metal, as their latest album has a lot of metal referances.

because we do separate profiles if band change name and use UBB band code in aka place, look how it looks like and since band has album out soon we separate
