I first heard about this band when Herz wrote a review for their "Pod Vladou Bice" album. He gave it a perfect 10, so I knew that it had to be something good. When I went to their official website and listened to 'Cistka', I was blown away. Never in my life had I heard such strange yet awesome music. Soon, I downloaded their "Pod Vladou Bice" album off DC++, and I absolutely fell in love with the album. It is now on my list of top 10 favorite albums. Now what do you guys think about !T.O.O.H.!, this amazingly technical death/grind band from the Czech Republic? My favorite songs from them include 'Cistka', Aura & Ziata', 'Svatorecim', and 'Ja Je Proto Proti'.

I've wanted to hear a song smaple or something by this band. They sound like a fun experimental band, but you'll be hard pressed to buy any of their albums, it takes awhile to find their records, you need to look for really underground distrubutors. I've tried going on their site, but it didn't let me on it. Can you send me the link to where you went?

shame that on their website there is only a few seconds of samples and in shops in Poland it is very difficult to find their records

If you want to check out another good Czech band try to find Violent Devoties. I did a review on them for Burning Misery, there last cd was very good (Entwined by Vengeance). Sort of experimental death. If you haven't heard them Herzebeth you might want to, heres their "website" (aka myspace) http://www.myspace.com/violentdevoties

This band needs more recognition. Very original in what they do, and quite technical. Imagine a mix of old Atrocity, Disharmonic Orchestra and Opeth (albeit rawer). Brilliant music for death/prog heads looking for something different. "Pod Vladou Bice" itself is a masterpiece. Has a raw live feel to it that is such a breath of fresh air to the over produced polished death metal albums of late. Some serious classic moments in this album that will blow you away. Get this album as soon as you can.

I bought Order and Punishment and I think the instruments are amazing, but the vocals are almost unbearable.

hahaha, yeah they are pretty harsh! Kinda like a mix of Mille Petrozza and Jeff Walker. But I found on further listening you get used to them.

It seems like the most bizarre Grindcore nowadays is being made on the Czech Republic...

I personally like !T.O.O.H.!, but think that the surprise factor in their music is actually more important than their intrinsic quality. I own "Pod Vladou Vice" and somehow I don't feel attracted to listen to it.
