Fire, water or earth? Personally I prefer "Blood Mountain", maybe it's still a bit too fresh in my ears, but I'm truly enjoying it a lot. All three are very consistent though, it's a hard choise.

EDIT: Mastodon's best album, I screwed up the poll question, some editing here please mods

Crack The Skye, undoubtedly. Remission follows close behind.

I love that this shoutbox was buzzing a moment ago, but as soon as I start talking about shipping, the room just clears. You're all hanging around talking about classics and I roll up with my HP fanfics yelling "I CAN HANG!"

None of the three, but I realize this poll is ancient. Once More 'Round the Sun, IMO each album is better than the last.

In order from favorite to least favorite
-Crack the Skye
-Once More 'Round the Sun
-The Hunter
-Blood Mountain

Remission is pretty close to Leviathan, with Crack the Skye not too far behind those. 3 classics, I'd say.

Blood Mountain is pretty close to The Hunter. Decent stuff, but I didn't care too much for either of those albums.

"Crack the Skye" since I prefer the progressive side of Mastodon.
