What band do you want to see reunited with their classic lineup? The artists have to be alive still... let's be realistic. I would like to see Sepultura get back with Cavaleras. Not necessarily to make a new album, but just to go on a long tour. Max would have to get back in shape and start playing his guitar more though. I also wished that Matt Barlow would have stayed in Iced Earth. He is the voice of that band. And it's sad to see that Nevermore is probably through now that Jeff Loomis and Van Williams left.

I'd like to see Katatonia with Akerfeldt and Fredrik Norrman again, and for them to continue with the death doom style on Brave Murder Day.

At the Gates... Seeing them live would be too good. I heard something about them reuiniting for some reason or another, so it may actually happen too. Can't recall where I heard it though, it was a while back...

I think he's the only member left at the moment, meaning it could be a while before anything else happens with them.

Twenty posts in and no Dark Angel? You people dissapoint me. Darkness Descends and Time Does Not Heal are among the best 80's thrash albums. Written by Dangerboner on 12.08.2011 at 20:23 Sadly, if Vio-Lence did reform, any album they would make would likely be a half assed attempt at thrash, with the riffs still being based on the nu/groove sound of Machine Head, just faster.

Lux Occulta. Damn, they disbanded right after that ridiculously crazy masterpiece "The Mother And The Enemy". What a shame. Oh and, btw, Written by Guest on 12.08.2011 at 19:21 Totally agreed. Their whole discography is incredible, I think I've never seen a band with so many masterpieces and without any sort of letdown in 20 years of career.

Mercyful Fate's 1983 lineup, Sabbath, Guns 'n Roses and maybe KISS. The sad part is that out of all those, the only one that is really possible to reform is GnR. Chances aren't that low for the others but i have major doubts about for example Sabbath and MF.

13.08.2011 - 23:02 Written by Valentin B on 13.08.2011 at 22:54 There is an infinitely higher possibility of Black Sabbath reforming than GnR. Mercyful Fate should be possible you'd think. The guys don't hate each other. But the biggest problem there is no-one know where Kim Ruzz is.

13.08.2011 - 23:09 Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 13.08.2011 at 23:02 i think at one point the call of the good old cash will be too much for Slash and Axl, and i can see them burying the hatchet for at least one tour or something. Mustaine did it with the guys at Slayer and Metallica, and i think we can both agree Mustaine is on a whole different level of stubbornness and assholeness than those two (not as generally insane as Rose though).

13.08.2011 - 23:22 Written by Valentin B on 13.08.2011 at 23:09 But Mustaine didn't play in the same band with those guys the last time he shared the stage with them. He could avoid them if he wanted to whereas that is an impossibility with Axl Dickhead Rose and Slash and Matt Sorum and the other guys
