According to Lex Roadrunner does NOT own. So, it is not a legit source.
Who cares if Thryce accepted it back in the day?

Lex told me 1-2 years ago its legit and owned by roadrunner

@Marcel When it first started out it was not owned by RR. Also for the longest time the site used to actually say *Hosted by Roadrunner at the bottom. If it is now actually owned by Roadrunner/Warner then I didn't know cuz I've never run across anything indicating so.

@BE I believe it was longer ago than that that I said that. And I can honestly say I was talking out of my ass back then.

The site no longer says *Hosted by Roadrunner though. And I couldn't find any indication of its ownership listed on the site currently.

Back in 2007/2008 it was hosted and ALSO owned by Roadrunner. I had to visit the head offices of Roadrunner in Naarden/Bussum back then and there they told me that the site was acutally owned by them although they only had "hosted by" at the bottom of the site.

Btw even it is still owned by RoadRunner I would NEVER use it as an official source since they also have news on other labels and it is more like The naitonal Enquirer of metal than anything eles/

but they have new line up, songs, album track list many cases much faster before band bands even put on own sites
Today few bands runs home pages, mainly facebook and other shity places

I have a suggestion for the "similar bands" feature. For example: I add Norther as a similar band to Children of Bodom. Then that's it. My suggestion is that when I add Norther as a similar band for CoB, then CoB would at the same time be added as a similar band for Norther.

good idea but only Ivan can fix it whit programming

How about same way zoom band, album img as metal archives has ? after you click they are bigger
Or it will take way to large space on server?

The problem is that those images are a 200x200 image. If we zoom that in then the image will become heavily distorted.

I know. I figured I'd better answer here in case anybody else is wondering about it.

You probably get this question/suggestion a lot but how much effort would take to make the website responsive? The layout of Metalstorm is perfect for the Bootstrapping framework, seriously guys its long over due.

@Ivan - is it possible make some programming and All Songs Must Be Capitalized rule fixed automatically ... when you add a new albums , even fixing to old ones ?

Would it be possible to get youtube embeds in html5 as an option?
since adobe is not particularly interested in keeping their linux version of flash player up to date or easy to update the only options are running the security risk of an outdated flash player or missing out on large parts of the content posted on here

good idea, maybe + bands if not ordinary users, but it would be good

Might have been suggested already, but the release year field in the Add album form could be blank by default as well. Saves from forgetting to change it in case it's not an upcoming album, which has happened to me a couple of times

in theory new add bands must be visiblized or look at new reviews section from S or C ... it might help

Would be cool to make your own lists "invisible". You might be working on a huge list and wanna save it without other members seeing it before it's finished. Yeah you could do it somewhere else on your computer and copy paste, so it's certainly not a must. But could be nice to see your personal list in progress on MS.

good idea, but I don't think it will happen. Best is write and save on PC ,... same I did for AF activity report lol

How about in profile where we have a collation, another option and separate list ''have heard'' There are many 2015 albums in MS what I don't hhave, but I have heard thanks to MS .. it would be great in end make best of list etc

How about quote option, that user chose that other can quote him or can not?

I know official bumps up to front page, but it would be easier
I don't look there on regular bases and that section as guest is pretty dead, it would be easier filtrate
