Recommend me some death metal with a vocalist that sounds like he's been on a diet of paint thinners, nails and broken glass. Like Frank Mullen on Pierced From Within or Chris Barnes on Tomb of the Mutilated or Mr. Hustler on Altered Genesis. . . .

I don't think that the voice of Chris Barnes is that "throat-ripping". sounds like your average low growl. Frank Mullen is closer to what I think about the term "throat ripping" but still not quite there.

For me this is Throat-ripping:

You need to check out some slam. If you haven't heard it yet, try Devourment's Molesting the Decapitated or Butcher the Weak, Disgorge's She Lay Gutted, and Infernal Revulsion's Devastate Under Hallucination.

I listen to all of the bands posted loool. Mike Majewski sounds awesome, like a throat cancer patient with alien vocal polyps. Thanks anyways, though

Digested Flesh has some seriously intense vocals as well.

Demilich's vocalist sounds like he drank gallons of soda before performing, and Donald Tardy from Obituary is very "throat ripping".

I totally forgot about Cephalotripsy, and Condemned, you may need to check them as well.

eh, those vocals are just low and gurgly sounding to me. Not bad, but not exactly what I'm looking for
here are a few examples

Mortitian (similar to Chris Barnes), Suffocation (not necessarily too throat ripping, but still), Whitechapel (see: Suffocation)
