Experimental death/doomery from ex members of Kayo Dot. I've been listening to their first album "The Man Closing Up" a bit recently, and it's quite good (and can be had for free at last.fm). Those into bands like Portal and Gorguts and those that enjoy the quirky experimentation found in Kayo Dot and maudlin Of The Well should enjoy this to some extent.

Will check this out, I like the idea of MotW tackling a more death metal direction. It's a Crucial Blast release so I'm expecting something pretty mental.

Their 2012 album on bandcamp . It is some really strange and uneasy music. Beside MotW and portal, it reminds me of khanate. Not saying that they are very similar, but somehow create same disturbing atmosphere. It is a little too non-metallic for its own good but still, pretty enjoyable.
---- Giving my ears a rest from music.
