My problem is there's SOOO many of these "atmospheric black metal" albums this year...

I'm not sure what kind of sorcery this is, but I've come around to really liking this album in the past month or so. I'm honestly not even sure now what I didn't like about it at first. Maybe it's that thing we talked about where I almost instantly dislike an album on the simple grounds that someone told me to listen to it rather than let me discover it on my own.

In any case, I've come around to appreciating this finally. Could you imagine if I start praising SubRosa and Arizmenda?

Oh my God Troy, I can't stand this album now! Nah, I jest. It is a bit of a u-turn though. If you started liking Arizmenda I would eat my top hat. Liking The Axis of Perdition would be the ultimate miracle though. Anyway glad you like this fine little number.

I love very much the prevailing atmosphere of the album ...... .

Awesome album. The beginning of "Angels Veiled Of Bone" makes me hard every time.

I'm seriously in love with this band.

Both of their albums were repressed on vinyl....I instantly bought them both

And then make a list of weird things he does like. But that would be mainly prog I suspect.

Mz and his strange tastes need to get off of the thread for this brilliant album (jk<3umahdi). Negative Plane are one of my favorite bands of all time.

I must admit I entertained thoughts like that the first time I heard it when it came out. I really don't like the production here and at points this album is just really boring. You're not alone.

Not really. I was looking through the review and remembered everyone was bullying mz for basically no good reason. I can imagine even fans of this album would be willing to concede that there are many qualities to it that make it not very engaging to other people.
Anyway I called Marcel out because I want to see what exactly changed during that time. I don't really recall him changing his mind so drastically for any album.

SOmehow I did at the time. But strangely enough not anymore, but I do still prefer the album before this one though.

wow Realyy? to me this haasr the best use of reverb ever. perfetc balance.
