Just received this one and the previous one by Horn Of The Rhino two days ago. Nice stuff indeed.

Came out late 2011 but got unnoticed Snowball Earth by Pulsar Colony. A really great mix of Prog and BM. Too bad awards are over.

What? Why? I mean I was pretty straightforward with my description. They blend Prog and BM in a way that I've never heard before and it's one of the few gems to come out last year IMO.

Gotta recommend Mgla's new album. It may be early in the year, but this is my current hands down favorite metal release of 2012.

Althought I like the album, I personally feel like Monolithe still keeps its best album of 2012 belt.

Of the few albums ive heard so far this year, two of the best are Dodecahedron's self titled and Charon - Sulphur Seraph (The Archon Principle). i saw the dodecahedron album mentioned earlier, but it is top quality black metal, highly influenced by the likes of deathspell omega. and the charon album is seriously heavy black/thrash. both albums should definitely be checked out

Shame I don't have a proper sound system for the next 4 days. I'll check it out during the weekend. Mgla is my top 5 favorite BM band. Excellent releases.

Daaaamn! This is really fukn awesome, I'm def gona have to get this album, asap. Heard of these guys but never got around to checking them out, I feel like an idiot for that now...
