At the graves?

lol

Ya, perhaps they named themselves after the King Diamond track?

Or they really like At The Gates.

Could've sworn I posted this a few weeks ago. Anyway, very interesting album to say the least.

Not so avant-garde, avant-garde black metal from Norway. I heard some hammond in the later tracks and a sax somewhere I think, anyway the good thing here is the guitar riffing.

Quite possible as I was too lazy too check correctly. Anyway as you pointed out it's such an interesting album that it easily deserves a second recommendation.

Heard that earlier this week, the guest parts with guitar are nice, the rest gets kinda boring after a few songs.

If by "guest parts" you mean the second album then it's not really guests... Those are complete covers of botanist songs done by bands which are friends with the dude from Botanist.

Otrebor also drums for Ophidian Forest. Such a great band with a very strange sound. Definitely my favourite of the second disc.

'The Poisoning' is a cool song: http://ophidianforest.bandcamp.com/album/redbad

Omnihility - Biogenesis (2012).

Brutal Tech Death in the vein of Origin yet really quite unique. If you especially like blistering fast guitars this might be for you. Debut album on Sevared and already mind-boggling stuff.

Lol "post-grind."

Also: "released 05 November 2011"

Pretty not bad though. Does sound a bit like Junius playing a proggy form of grind in a way.

Comparing this to JFAC and Whitechapel is an insult to those bands.

Awful, awful, brutal deathcore.

From my understanding neither of those two bands play deathcore anymore, so much.

French Doom metal, Monolithe released their 2nd full length this year. One track, 52 minutes long. Their "II" album would be in my top 10 this year.
