new albums means who will be out soon or was relised sme weeks ago ... now its 2012 ... it means already old albums

I don't quite know how to explain something so utterly simple to you in any other way. Please just go back to spamming other threads with stuff no one ever responds to and stop trying to point out things which don't need pointing out.

If I find out around Christmas time, at the end of the year, about cool albums made at the start of the year I won't bother mentioning them anywhere then because they're already considered "old albums" and have no purpose anywhere. Same story if an album gets released on December 31st but I don't find out about until January the 1st the following day. Old news. No one will want to listen to that.

For me "new" means something I haven't heard yet... We missed a lot of great albums last year and this thread will allow us to find them.

Back to the topic. That Heavy Water Experiments track sounds sweet, will check the rest asap (damn exams).

These threads are not for mentioning albums you just discovered that were released within the last couple weeks. They're for recommending ANY and ALL metal albums released in the year listed in the title. So the 2011 version was for ANY and ALL metal albums released in 2011. The 2012 version is for ANY and ALL metal albums released in 2012. And the 2013 version is for ANY and ALL metal albums released in 2013.

When they were discovered has no bearing on whether you can post them in these threads. If this isn't clear enough then see the first part of Joe's previous post...

Actually his nasal sound reminds me a bit of the singer from Manilla Road on the first few albums.

Yeah that's closer, makes me wonder how Shelton would go with a more psychadelic sound. I reckon he could pull it off well.

Haha! What a dope! I was confused at first, I was like "Well yea, of course I did so the djent fans could see the artwork"...then I realized what you meant...

It's fixed now.

Polish Echoes Of Yul released their sophomore album last year called Cold Ground. Basically they play slow and atmospheric droning doom.

Excellent sludgy/proggy stoner metal in the vain of old Baroness & Mastodon. Really great stuff!

New Eternal Elysium split with SardoniS. Psyched-out stoner sludge fun.

Also, someone remind me to give this album a proper looking at some point, as it sounds pretty boss.

Pretty surprised to see that Desecresy wasn't mentioned in this thread yet. They had an awesome osdm debut.

EDIT: noticed a few more that is not here:

Horrendous - The Chills
another osdm release..

Kamikabe - Aberration of Man
really groovey, awesome tech dm, with some deathcore touches.

Veiled in Scarlet - Idealism
a really, really underrated melodeath act from japan. its really true to its style with no frills, just all riffs and epic shit.

Birds in Row - You, Me and the Violence
a post hardcore band from france, really great shit.
