Cryptopsy - Announce New Bassist
Following the recent departure of Cryptopsy's former bassist Youri Raymond, the Canadian death metal outfit has been quick to announce a replacement. Olivier Pinard (also in Neuraxis) has taken over "4 string" duties. Pinard has officially joined Cryptopsy on a full time basis. Check him out below playing to the band's "Cold Hate Warm Blood".

Okay... so they got a tech-death bassist. Hopefully that means no more deathcore bullshit. Or at least, maybe they can write some good deathcore. If anyone can rival the likes of Born of Osiris (apparently people think they're good), it's Cryptopsy.
