Flying Colors - New Project Featuring Mike Portnoy And Steve Morse


Flying Colors, the new project featuring drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob) and guitarist Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs), have revealed details about their upcoming debut album. The self-titled record, which was produced by Peter Collins (Rush, Queensrÿche), will be available in the UK on March 26th, followed by a US release on March 27th. You can view the tracklist below. The band also features keyboardist Neal Morse (Transatlantic, Spock's Beard), bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs), and vocalist Casey McPherson (Alpha Rev, Endochine).

This sounds interesting enough. I for one have loved the concept of Adrenaline Mob, and I will listen to whatever band that includes Russell Allen on vocals, but I think Portnoy can do better quality-wise. This just might be it.
