even official snow mobile roads are 99% safe, but we ride over all and be in ice its always at your own risk, and mid april is my border when I go on the ice
We have one ice road for cars, in Luleå you can drive car to small islands . To get to the town I need cross 6 lakes, by snow mobile and almost all roads cross some water way. I gass as crazy when I cross rivers or big big lakes
Pretty self explanatory. A general forum for everything non-metal that you dug in 2012, be it EBM, punk, noise, jazz, hip-hop et cetera. Youtube clips definitely a good idea when possible, if not a brief description at the very least. Haven't concentrated much on non-metal stuff this year but some interesting stuff that has come my way:
Hopefully this hasn't already been recommended, but Grendel's Timewave Zero is an awesome release worth checking out. Epic, dark, aggressive, and catchy - aggrotech-lite (more like futurepop) for a weekend-long rave or a simple night out at a club.
Got this album a couple weeks ago, I'm liking it a lot. If you like Timewave Zero album check out the pre-release stuff for Psyborg Corp.'s new album The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana that's supposively coming sometime this year...
Hyperborei - Terrae Incognitae
Martial/dark folk from Argentina. This is a project by a well-known specialized record shop owner in Buenos Aires. A few guest musicians here and there but everything was produced/played by him and a friend and released under his own label, Twilight Records.
New Efterklang album Piramida is streaming at NPR. They used to be pretty strange, electronic and experimental indie pop with post-rock leanings. Their first album is pretty stellar. This one seems a little more straightforward, but the detailed soundscapes here are awesome.
And here's some neoclassical. Max Richter heavily recomposed Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The result is a curious marriage of baroque liveliness and somber modernism. It's pretty awesome, a must-listen for any fans of classical music.

I love Max Richter, will definitely be checking this out.
Really hard to describe what's going on here. Experimental Blues Rock & Jazz meets Industrial Metal I guess... Point is, the guy's a genius and will take you on quite the ride.
Mumford & Sons new album is pretty freakin' great.
I wasn't sold. They have some nice tunes, but it's the same song over and over again. And they have this "authentic folk" thing going when in reality it's pretty basic indie rock. It wasn't awful, just a disappointment after all the hype. But if you like it, you should check out the new Grizzly Bear.
Just discovered an awesome EP called Transcendentalism, a collaboration between Dustin O'Halloran, Hauschka, and Jóhann Jóhannsson. I'm primarily a Dustin fan, so here's one of his contributions:
Jóhann Jóhannsson also has a new soundtrack out this year, for a film called Copenhagen Dreams.
Currently listening to "Move" off Hiromi's new album Move. The same trio that played on the last album Voice is on this one as well (Anthony Jackson on Bass, Simon Philips on Drums and Hiromi on Piano). The title track is wonderful. Very upbeat, slight wacky and progressive. Its also abit similar to "Desire", a favorite of mine off her previous album. Jazz Fusion, for me, this is where its at!
Apparently I've been living under a rock as I've never heard of this group before, but I'm really enjoying "Godspeed You! Black Emperor's" latest (their most recent output in a while it seems):
