Haha, that's like saying "compose your own Metal album and upload it here, instead of writing a review of an album".

t.r.a.m.'s lingua franca is a pure jazz album, not metal

I could put Pat Methenys Roots of Coincidence from his 1997 album Imaginary Day in the mix, but its not all metal/jazz fusion, but also contains drum n bass and ambient elements. really good song from an amazing album:D and the rest of the songs on that album is not metal at all.

I might be stretching what your looking for in terms of Jazz Metal, but Mr.Bungle's Disco Violente has a good amount of jazz moments (although I'd be surprised if you never heard it considering your love of Faith No More).

You mean Disco Volante, right?
Anyway you're right there are undoubtedly some jazz moments on it. But so much more I wouldn't confine it to Jazz Metal.

Using the bands on this list as a barometer, you should check out or think about adding:
Cynic
An Endless Sporadic
Intronaut
Meshuggah
Yakuza
Aghora
Atheist
Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects
Psychofagist
Zu
Ever Forthright
Spastic Ink
Death
Jonas Hellborg
Dysrhythmia
Behold... The Arctopus
Alarum
Xtreme Measures
Grey Matter
To-Mera
7 For 4
Canvas Solaris

i could of course add technical metal band to the list, but they just got jazz elements in their music. i dont think they have that fine balance, where the metal n the jazz fuse together...
same w prog metal bands like to-mera and aghora.
spastic ink, zu, intronaut i dont know. maybe. have to relisten. meshuggah?
rest of the list..tx for tips:D

Its a jazz fusion album but I suppose it owes far less to the metal side of things than those you have in your list.
