I'm probably going to sign up for an Egg one too that's for pick up the same location. Only $.50 more than supermarket eggs. I'd be crazy to not do that.
We grow our own vegetables and peaches but we know a friend with a cattle farm out here so we get from them but it’s not delivered, though that would be really nice
I can do that too but it's nice to just pick it up and go when I'm short on time. Plus we get some different vegetables that aren't in our normal rotation so it keeps it interesting.
Seems like I'm complaining about a new release every day at the moment. This is unbelievably flat and lifeless for a DsO record; a technical bore. Another let down.
7,5/10.
Far from being their best EP, but I really don't want to complain. I enjoyed it a lot anyway. It's a little step back and DsO can afford it, after all they've done - especially the monstrous Paracletus, which I consider their best work and one of the most overwhelming experiences I've ever had. Great work guys, but try not to become just the contorsionists of avant-black, okay?

Are you sure you like heavy metal? Based on several of your posts, its really hard to tell.
Written by Guest on 23.05.2012 at 17:42 Well I won't be surprised if the new EP is lifeless display of technical showmanship with little substance. Either way we don't have that long to wait to find out.
Are you thinking Dodecahedron?
Exactly. That album got some many high marks yet I still fail to see what is so special about it. Its a mediocre DSO clone.
Ok, I gave it 4 chances, and curiously ended being my rating.
I'm a big follower of DO. Fas... is my favorite BM album ever, but this EP is just awful, literally need more work, kind of recycled riffs.
It lacks originality in someway. Do you guys remember Kénôse?
I just hope they doesn't change they style.
About this:
"This recording displays some of the most lethal song writing ever witnessed from the band while retaining their unmistakable sound"
And what could this song be? Is not in this EP for certain.
Honestly, after the first listen I got a little upset but after more times, I can definitely say that this EP is not that bad. The songs Fiery Serpents and The Crackled Book of Life are both top-notch DO and feature some really intense parts. It is true, however, that if they keep going this way, they will quickly become generic and boring, I mean, where is the Chaining The Katechon magnificient songwriting ?
The one thing I really enjoyed the most about DO is the drumming. The drumming on this EP is intense! My pants literally came off when I put Drought into my stereo. I may not understand the big fuss about this EP, but I surely hope they keep this going. This is what I like to hear in BM. Good musicians showing off their talent!
First Fas, now this... I found this a chaotic mess. I couldn't get a single note. Seriously, I think there's something wrong with my ears when it comes to Deathspell Omega.
Indeed. I have a feeling it'll never happen though... Sad times.
It's not too bad though... I liked the last track but it feels like it's the only one I liked and only if I completely forget these are the same guys responsible for some BM masterpieces. 6-light-7 stuff. Probably won't listen to it again.
