The thread is only called ''Best Thrash Albums of 2012''. I have no idea why I thought you were talking about their latest albums...

I talked about Testaments latest and then I added that I believe Kreator kicks ass too (in a general sense). I'm sorry if it's confusing.

We really don't mind it he's just being an ass Personally I liked the latest Kreator. But not so much Testament's latest. Im fucked up like that.

I've spent most of the year buying and listening to death metal, black metal and grindcore. Most of the thrash I've been listening to is from the 80s. Having said that, I bought and enjoy:
  • Overkill: The Electric Age
  • Kreator: Phantom Antichrist
  • Testament: Dark Roots of Earth
Savage Messiah's Plague of Conscience deserves a mention too.

Kreators Phantom Anitchrist is an awesome album in my opinion. Dont know what people are complaining about. Testaments is Dark roots of earth is ok.

It's a good CD if you like rehashed Violent Revolution riffs and identical song patterns from song to song.

Phantom Antichrist is brilliant. Easily my favorite thrash album of the year, even though there isn't too much to choose from. Can't blame Kreator for sounding much like Kreator...

Really digging the latest Bonded By Blood album.

Not many are of my opinion though, but I have been listening it on repeat for the entire week. Riff-wise, the best album so far for me.

Well 2012 is over, but that just means i can pick my overall favorite....
Dethhammer - Onward To The Pits.
Norwegian thrash that is blackened on the inside, almost a modern version of First Wave BM, but still mostly thrash.
