Why is there not a metal-tube??? We need that! Or does anyone know one??

Youtube has metal videos, interviews and more. It even has full concerts! Why does metal need a separate site?

I think I might have seen a site like that a really long time ago... Considering that I never went back to it or remembered the name of it, it didn't meet any of my needs that Youtube didn't already meet...

I know. But there is a function on Youtube saying "Music" and all there is shit. Would be awesome with some metal music, you know, to listen to some new stuff.

Metalheads will search the stuff what they want. Next step gonna be "why don't we have a Black Metal tube"? or something and the shit will over pour.

Better we just don't make a complex crap out of this and let it be what it is.

Agreed, there's no point whatsoever in having a metal tube seeing as Youtube already caters for practically every metal band there is.

There used to be a MetalTube as far as I can recall, but it sucked.

Subscribe to the channels that upload stuff you're interested in then Plenty of metal record labels on there

No need for "specific genre" tube as Youtube covers everything, as has been pointed out already.

Or, if you really want for one to exist, design the site yourself.

Sounds like a good idea to me, it would make finding metal a great deal easier I'd imagine. Sure youtube's great for sharing metal music, problem is ensuring that people find out about it.
But yeah this sort of thing is already facilitated on youtube itself with channel subscriptions and whatnot. Still I think this idea would be of benefit.

I'm a metalhead but I also want to discover new bands. If I don't know any new bands then searching on youtube for new bands is pretty hard. My girlfriend looks through youtubes music playlist sometimes and finds new music she likes. Would be awesome if you could do that as a metalhead

Just look in the suggestions bar in YouTube and you'll get loads of recommendations for new bands. YouTube has an entire section for metal.

generally it"d be a great idea, but how would you get the community and how would you make sure it"s metal only without censorship?

Well If you wanna make sure the band gets visibility on YT, the one that uploads the video has to know the tags he wants to use. Coming from a Bancamp slut, If you want to discover new metal bands just use Bandcamp lot's of the new stuff you'll find there won't even be on YT yet.

My favorites are still Youjizz and Redtube.

Dude, there's all sorts of metal on Youtube, you just need to take the time and effort to search for them. To propose a separate site for metal videos just shows that you're too lazy to search for anything.

It's just going to turn into a metal archives style elitist breeding ground, where only the "real metal" bands are allowed.

The real and unknown ones. Everytime I go there to ask or look for a recommendation, they will post up some bands from Antartica or something which I never heard of but majority of them in that forum talk as if they bought all their records.

The trouble is getting tapped into the right crowd who enjoys the metal sound. If there was some sort of filter for people that would be ideal...

OR if you wanna check out the new bands with the genre, you can always go to Last.fm. It's a great website to check out some new stuff.

What Cynic said. You can use Last.fm, Rate Your Music, Spotify recommendations, blogs, zines, forums and YouTube channels (I subscribe to a few reviewers, though they have a pretty different taste than me) to find information and ideas. Then you can look them up on Bandcamp or YouTube. It's really very easy, and loads of fun.

Not for me , I even see nmew loyout , only google chrome works fine, i net ex still has been messy
offical video + those where are commercals forks finme to me , but at Facebook or MS news all works till I open linkw hit YT its vlack screen , no loading nothing
my friends in Luleå has same problem , not all some has norm al, some same ..
maybe its my PC maybe I need some updates soemthing,m even all are new, on date + I have not change any settings

I think it's more IExplorer that has built-in "security features". If it was SOPA and other YT itself would be shut down.
