Unfortunately, death metal veterans Deicide have cancelled their summer European tour due to unforeseen circumstances. For this reason, Brutal Assault Festival has announced Brazilian death metallers Krisiun as a replacement. Other newly confirmed acts are Britisth black metallers Anaal Nathrakh and South African metalcore band Truth And Its Burden.

They will join the already announced bands: Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Machine Head, Ministry, Nile, Insomnium, Moonspell, Paradise Lost, At The Gates, Sodom, Norther, Arcturus, Be'lakor, Riverside, Arkona, Immolation, The Black Dahlia Murder, Warbringer, Six Feet Under, Heaven Shall Burn, Municipal Waste, Hatebreed, Aborted, Textures, Heathen, Toxic Holocaust, Gorguts, Suicide Silence, Pig Destroyer, Darkest Hour, Corrosion Of Conformity, Sólstafir, Cattle Decapitation, Converge, Godflesh, Incantation, Kampfar, Vallenfyre, Dødheimsgard, Morgoth, Sick Of It All, Virus, Lock Up, Vildhjarta, General Surgery, Ahumado Granujo, Fields Of The Nephilim, Shape Of Despair, Rise And Fall, Finntroll, Skarhead, Root, Napalm Death, Crowbar, Alcest, Agnostic Front, Norma Jean, Samael, Unearth, Kylesa, Engel and Inquisition.

In cooperation with ČD (Czech train operator), they are offering a 50% discount on train tickets to Jaroměř. When purchasing your train ticket to Jaroměř, show your BA Festival ticket and you will get a 50% discount. Then visit an "Information center" directly at the festival (at the entrance gate) and your train ticket will be stamped. The return train ticket won't be valid without this special stamp.

Brutal Assault has also launched a photo contest. If you send them your photo wearing a T-shirt or a hoodie or other merchandise, they will collect your photos for one week and then upload to a special folder on their Facebook profile and during next week there will be polls for those photos. There is only one and simple principle - the best rated photo will win. The first place prize is a ticket to Brutal Assault festival, second place is a Brutal Assault hoodie and third place is a Brutal Assault T-shirt - both are brand new designs for this year.
