Kreator - Best To Worst

Created by: TerrorZone | 21.07.2012

1. Kreator - Coma Of Souls
Arguably Kreator's magnum opus. Top-notch melodic leads from Mille & Blackfire, with no let-downs on aggression.
2. Kreator - Extreme Aggression
Excellent riffs with emphasis on technicality, listen to "Betrayer" and you'll definitely buy this album!
3. Kreator - Phantom Antichrist
Kreator's most diverse album, with acoustic guitar parts in a few songs. Lead guitar work is excellent with explosive solos from Sami Yli-Sirnio & Mille Petrozza.
4. Kreator - Enemy Of God
A brutal yet melodic album, with very catchy songs. A very close place behind Enemy of God in my opinion, but the positions of both albums is exchangeable depending on your preferences.
5. Kreator - Terrible Certainty
An ambitious and technical album. Kreator's sound is much tighter than before. An underrated album dwarfed by the better known Pleasure to Kill and Extreme Aggression.
6. Kreator - Violent Revolution
Kreator's return to thrash metal after a decade of experimentation. This is what Kreator would probably sound like after Coma of Souls if they continued thrash. Lots of melody from new guitarist Sami Yli-Sirnio, contains one of the best Kreator songs written: title track "Violent Revolution."
7. Kreator - Hordes Of Chaos
Lots of instruments were "recorded live" in studio. Contains some great songs, but with a couple of uninspired songs in the mix.
8. Kreator - Pleasure To Kill
This is what Kreator's known for back in the day. The most extreme metal album in 1986 along with Slayer's Reign in Blood and Dark Angel's Darkness Descends. Why is it all the way down here? Well because Kreator will get a lot better with time!
9. Kreator - Endorama
Kreator experiment with melodic and gothic metal on this album. Though despised by many, it is a very cohesive album with a number of very catchy songs. You'll like this if you enjoy melodic or gothic metal.
10. Kreator - Endless Pain
Recorded in just 10 days with no studio experience. It is showcases the energy and aggression of Kreator as well as the great potential of this band. It's time to raise the Flag of Hate!
11. Kreator - Outcast
Contains industrial and gothic elements. Has some good songs, but less industrial elements would make it far better.
12. Kreator - Cause For Conflict
Kreator re-introduce some thrash metal elements and reduces the amount of industrial elements from Renewal. Drums on this album are crushing and it contains a few good songs, but with forgettable guitar riffs.
13. Kreator - Renewal
Kreator abandon thrash metal, and experiment with industrial. The result is slower songs, which lack the sheer firepower of their first albums or the almost melodic perfection of Coma of Souls. Renewal could've been better if Kreator weren't smoking weed back in 1992.

Fix the typos in the text for 4, 8 + 10, and my thumb will be pointing up. A well-done list, for sure
