Listening to "Songs Of Moors And Misty Fields" born in me the idea of creating this thread, about one of my favourite bands... Empyrium hail from Germany and they play some highly emotional Dark Metal with folk touches, adding a quiet, beautiful neoclassical atmosphere and well, it's like the perfect soundtrack for calm moments...

My personal favourite album by them is being "A Wintersunset", a very subtle yet rather harsh by times masterpiece...

GREAT band... I think Ulf is not from Earth... Cuz, He has wonderful talent..... I wanna know where is Nadine now or in which band?

listen to Moonspell's Acoustic in Lisbon and then compare it to Empyriums clear vocal songs. that where they r a little such as each other. but when they growl im agree with u they r different

Well the clean vocal of Forest Of Shadows makes me reminiscend of operatic clean vocal male of Empyrium. I love best the first two stuff of this band. I prefer Songs Of Moors And Misty Fields than A Wintersunset, but I enjoy both. They both are masterpieces but the second one is master of master of masterpiece. I would give more time listening to the first one.
