so basically i want power metal songs that start with similar cheesy keyboard intros and go on as classic "generic power metal"
so far i have following listed:
Power Quest - Sacred Land
Stratovarius - Freedom
Celesty - Reign Of Elements
Edguy - Vain Glory Opera
Salamandra - The Revenge (i recommend this one to be checked - quite nice band from Czech Republic!)
i wanna expand this list...ty for tips, there must be more
---- The bones of beasts and the bones of kings
Become dust in the wake of the hymn
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall
No more than a breath on the wind
Well, i actually only remember "Replica", "Full Moon" and "Letter to Dana" out of this album and not one of them is like this
i was kinda hoping for more particular tips
---- The bones of beasts and the bones of kings
Become dust in the wake of the hymn
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall
No more than a breath on the wind
I tend to forget about these kinds of songs so I can't recall a lot of them. But here's one more for you that fits your examples completely.
Are you sure you don't just want awesome power metal songs without it having to start with a cheesy keyboard riff? Or even ones that start with a keyboard riff that isn't so blatantly cheesy? There are tons of power metal songs that start with a keyboard riff but it's not like that in-your-face-melted-cheese-oh-noes-I-cant-breathe-because-there's-so-much-cheese-in-my-nostrils isolated keyboard riff. Which is what appears to be the theme of the thread.
For this purpose i only want those WITH cheesy keyboard riff
i am, however, not against the possibility you suggest me great power metal songs without them elsewhere
---- The bones of beasts and the bones of kings
Become dust in the wake of the hymn
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall
No more than a breath on the wind
Why exactly are we looking for things cheesy and generic?
because i want
---- The bones of beasts and the bones of kings
Become dust in the wake of the hymn
Mighty kingdoms rise, but they all will fall
No more than a breath on the wind
