I thought this was only for one or two bands, but it seems that no bands have their links to their band pages. Like in the Forums, etc where you type a band in and it comes out with a link. This doesn't seem to work. Just thought I'd let you know.

Couldn't it be a 'search' for bands ? That filter stuff is pretty useful as a feature, but if you just want to find ONE specific band ?
Or maybe it's just me who couldn't figure it out...

The search button (just below the title of the thread) must be what you're looking for

I was thinking more of a search button on the 'Featured Bands' page...But I guess you're right, that should do it.

It's true there used to be a list of related threads on every band page which was quite useful...

That's working, I just checked Carcass. Maybe your bands haven't had their thread recreated yet?

BTW, did you just add Jethro to your fav bands? You seem to rock more & more each day

I've just noticed it was working on Carcass bandpage too

I decided it's better to leave it the way it is - with UBB code. It's more accurate and also reduces the load on server.

Alright, cool with me.

I think it's nicer with the UBB code...if you had a word with a band name in it this part would create a link even if you didn't intended this in the old way

Yeah, that's fair enough, there certainly are a lot more featured bands these days anyway.

I wasn't creating a thread for this but I think that something's wrong with KMFDM's link in user profiles. If someone adds the band to his list, it appears as "Kmfdm" and don't create the actual link.

Not really, it still appears as Kmfdm. Check this profile for example:

The Iron Maidens are on here as an invisible band. It may be faster to jump to the Bands link in the menu on the left (which shows bands ordered by popularity by default) and then click on Maiden there to get to their page. Or add it to your shortcuts - click the yellow arrow, found below the Metal Storm logo with the guitar guy at the top of every page.
