To/Die/For - Shows In Mexico Cancelled

To/Die/For will not be performing in Mexico after all. The band had booked two shows for October but now confirms they were cancelled.

Here's To/Die/For's statement: "Yet again another sad day for To/Die/For and all the other people concerned. The mail we received today, was not the one we wanted to open. It's hard to believe this is happening! Shows in MEXICO are CANCELLED! Once again far away in Finland, To/Die/For IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for the cancellation of the concerts. With our small resources, we just have to believe that everything will be organized in away that is agreed. To get to destination and to perform on the date released. We have no possibility to affect how things are organized overseas. We HAVE to promote those sites that sell tickets, to get people aware. Once again, we believed... Of course none of the parties concerned are happy with this outcome. For band this feels extremely bad, because some of us have already experienced Mexico and all amazing fans there. With enthusiasm we Jape, Antza, Juska and Juppe waited to re-experience it. For our 2 members, Eza and Matti, it would have been a great chance to experience everything for the first time.

After starting To/Die/For again, it is everything for us. We live through the band. "In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away" (Shing Xiong) Those moments when we are on stage, always take our breath away. However in these cases like now, when chances to get on stage are taken away, it feels like there is no room or space to breath at all. We are now depressed, sad and exhausted...

MOST OF ALL: WE FEEL SORRY for the FANS! Once again we saw those happy smiles and joyful faces in pictures holding tickets to our concerts, and naturally that made us happy! Maybe someday we will get there? They say there should be a lesson both in good and bad things in life. It must be true, but today, in this moment... We just feel too upset to figure out the meaning of this disappointment. We hope that in the future we will rock in Mexico! Thanks for support! Dreams shall stay alive....

Sincerely: Jape, Antza, Juska, Juppe, Eza and Matti - T/D/F"

They need to come to The States. I just saw Katatonia. Now I need to see T/D/F.
