During the summer holidays, I used to listen to music for 3 hours per day. Now, because of fucking school, I can barely listen at home, so I only listen to music on the way to school and back, which is like 15 minutes. So 30 minutes 'tis. And actually, any more than 3 hours would make me depressed. I don't know why, it just happens.

Well back in my uni days i used sit in my dorm room and listen for at least 4 hours a day especially in the winter when its cold and rainy outside !! nowadays a bit less cause im quite busy most of the time but i still put in a 1 hour music shift daily

Almost all of them, even in my sleep metal is playing in the background \m/

About 4-7 hours each day. I listen when I'm travelling to school and back (about 1-2 hours), and when I'm walking the dog (20 minutes). The majority of course is when I listen to music in my room at home (4-6 hours).

Probably 4-6 hours a day during the week, about 2x more on weekends

As many as I can! Sometimes it's a full day without, sometimes it's 12 straight hours. I couldn't tell you what my average is though.

I work at a elementary school as a janitor. So I jam out about 5 hours a day. On the weekends, about the same or less because im usually out doing something.

For me, it really matters on the day. I've found silence to be some of the best music these days. lol. I need to give my ears a break. But it ain't nothing for me to get in 12 - 16 hours a day of solid music.

I listen to many, many hours of music pretty much every day. no way to really be sure how many. people who know me personally can attest to headphones always being in my ears. I also have a very low attention span so music in the background makes boring daily tasks better, for example washing the dishes.

Depends. On some days it would be something as low as thirty minutes to say 3 or 4 hours. The latter hours though is when I get a lot of free time whilst the former is when I'm really busy.

An album a day, at least

Roughly about an Hour a day, at least right now. The reason being its hella cold Outside and I prefer going on walks when I jam out. though sometimes I'll go to the gym and run on the treadmill whilst I rock out.

I usually play music for maybe 2-3 hours a day....I love to play it at night mostly, I guess so I can relax and sleep better after hearing music play...8-]]

Probably at least 3-4 hours a day. I like to play it when I'm gaming or doing other tasks on the computer.

As much as i possibly can. It depends on my schedule of course. On a work day 1-6 hours a day, if i don't have to work then sometimes the whole day

1 to 2 hours a day, but practising bass again takes precedence over listening to music right now.

1 CD (max 2 CD) on my stereo system (I do not use walkman or portable devices) + drums practice + some Internet music search from time to time.

Probably at least 6-7 hours every (normal) day, since I was around 11 years old. I tend to become quite impatient and even a slightly bit rude if it's late pm and I haven't been able to put my headphones on...
My lastfm account says 40 songs/day on average, but I didn't link any music to it for three years, so it's much more than 40.

The advantage of being a student and having to take public transport for about 2 hours everyday as well as a 20 min. walk from the trainstation to the school building and vice versa. That already gives me almost 3 hours of listening to music. Or working on assignments, I also usually do that when listening to music.
