Slayer - Headlining Bloodstock Open Air 2013
The Bloodstock Open Air 2013 team has announced today that seminal thrash metal legends, Slayer are confirmed as the third and final headliner for next year. The Californian four-piece will close the Ronnie James Dio stage on Sunday night at Catton Park, United Kingdom.
Guitarist Kerry King commented: "Can't wait to hit the stage at Bloodstock! Metal Festival in England? Fuck yes! It's going to be hell on earth and I'm looking forward to having a party with all my British friends."
The current line-up boasts names such as King Diamond, Accept, Firewind, Dark Funeral, Municipal Waste, Ex Deo, Lamb Of God, Avantasia, Kataklysm, Anthrax, DevilDriver, Fozzy, Amorphis and Whitechapel.
The fest will take place from 08-11 August 2013 at Catton Park, Derbyshire in the UK. For all the details, check out the official website http://www.bloodstock.uk.com.
