I remember from a documentary on musical notes production and history, that the ancient Chinese believed music is the answer of human beings to their surroundings and nature. In this regard mostly their music is based on the five-tone instead of seven-tone scale.
Hence I would say Igorrr has got the best, righteous and exact answer to our surrounding, nature and environment by means of music. What do we have? We have chaos, no clear patterns for events, sometimes disastrous incidents and there are moments filled with pure beauty and bittersweet emotions.
It really doesn't matter what you've listened to in 2012, nothing comes within a light year of how schizophrenic, eclectic, bizarre, unique and brilliant this record is. Experimental breakcore and blasting cybergrind punctuated by modern classical piano and violin, arias, Latin guitar, chickens, fluttering bird wings, vacuum cleaners (no joke) and who knows what else.
Seriously. Unless you've heard this then you've heard nothing like this.
I give up. This is probably the best written album of 2012, but it does nothing for me, so tough tits. I've never been a fan of wackiness of the sake of wackiness, and this album just proves it.

Yeah, this is something I definitely do not agree regardless if you and/or I liked it or not. I can't see how this is crazy just for the sake of being crazy. Way too intelligent, well-structured and complex to be thrown into the same box as many other avantgarde artists who in fact don't really know what they want to do so they just put a lot of shit together in hope of sounding "avantgarde". I don't hear such silliness in Igorrr.

No, that's not what I meant. As I've said, I'm pretty convinced this is the best written album of 2012.
It's just that I don't really get (or "feel", if you will) anything from this album other than the whole eccentric bizarreness, which I'm simply not a fan of.

I'm sorry for the missunderstanding then.

I find it hilarious that people view it as such a chaotic kind of music when it fact it has been meticulously structured. Not any way as random as people think.

hehe, i just tried absolute psalm.. its like imagining dogs barking, cats meowing, ducks quacking, kids choir, fast drums, dubstep, pianos and then playing them very fast in your head.. its amusing at first listen but i do agree its awful in the end..
I tried to find some brilliance here, but I failed. In the beginning it' starts with some fun, but after some tracks it gets annoying with all the things he tries to mix and also it's too electronic.
Man, I think it doesn't even deserve a spot in this site
It was ... I can't find the proper word/phrase to describe it, but I enjoyed it.
If I were him, I'd use less electronic stuff and more acoustic/electric instruments.
Unfortunately acoustic means real and real means more money, effort and skills.
But overall it was ... and composer knew what he was doing.
That wouldn't have helped at all on the contrary!
Got into Igorrr with Moisissure back in 2008 - it was very natural, no need to get accustomed to breakcore beforehand (on the whole, I still can't like it at all )

Perhaps not then
I like breakcore most of the time, particularly when it's a bit wacky.
This is the musical equivalent of ADHD. Vegetable soup is my favourite track for two reasons; CHICKENS! and the lady saying "شربة خضار"
One of the album's highlights
أكل موزة on "Absolute Psalm" is another highlight .
Ok, guys, you can't do this... obsessive-compulsive people like me will read it and want to know what the hell it means.
So what does it mean? Both شربة خضار and أكل موزة
Thanks.
أكل موزة
Means "Eat A Banana".
شربة خضار
Means "Vegetable Soup".
Thank you.
By the way... someone mentioned he didn't actually say أكل موزة on "Absolute Psalm", but something in german. I don't know if that's the part he meant, but there is a sample in german of someone saying "Pampelmuse" in the song. A Pampelmuse is a pomelo (a citrus fruit). Just thought i'd get this out of the way, in case someone else is also obsessing with it.

Thanks the pronunciation is fairly similar to أكل موزة.
