Well, album is already pre-released digitally (available for streaming on youtube) but the band clearly states the official release date will be in 2013 so fuck it...

Self-labeled as Electronic, Shoe-Gaze, Trip Hop, Ambient, Dream Pop, Industrial... thing is the tracks on the album are really diverse. The album cover alone should do the job anyway .

Well, my favorite album of the year is the new Soft Kill record "Circle of Trees," which is a post-punk record. If you've been paying attention to this particular scene, you'll know the band from the Blessure Grave days, and you'll also know that Soft Kill released the phenomenal "An Open Door" full-length in 2011. This new record is even better than the last. Check it out.

A buddy of mine has a electronic/dubstep/Drum & Bass project (not sure of the proper classification). And in my honest opinion it's pretty darn good. Give it a listen guys.

If it's true it could potentially blow away any other album this year. (or whatever year it's released).

I know there's probably enough Metal elements in the album to put it in the Metal Recommendations, but it's so much more then that. So many layers, so much hooks, so much psychedelic passages, so much everything!

And it wasn't even that good!

Well it was pretty nice. Not sure if it's weaker than the sophomore or if I just got past that phase. Just didn't feel as crazy and energetic.
