Megadeth - Mixing New Album
Megadeth have begun the mixing stages of their still untitled new album and shared some new studio footage with all the members from the band recording parts at Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California during mid-January 2013. The thrash metal band has recorded 11 songs so far.
Megadeth's 14th album and follow-up to Th1rt3en will be released by a new label since the band's no longer part of the Roadrunner Records roster. However, in a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie, Dave Mustaine confirmed that the band already found a new label home which will be announced soon as well as the title of the album.
Bassist David Ellefson's view on the new album: "Having a great week here at Vic's Garage laying down bass on the new songs. Really some great, great songs taking shape at this point in the recording process. I told Dave today that one of them totally reminded me of the earliest stuff back when we first met. Fast, ripppin' and fully bringing the REAL old-school Megadeth sound!"
