So, apparently the AFL had to pay a fee to Warner Bros because the new AFL team will be called the Tasmanian Devils, just because WB thinks they own global copyright to the name of an animal
UK's Dragged Into Sunlight are currently writing new material. But that is not all. The band has also released their new collaboration with Gnaw Their Tongues. You can stream the track over here or on the player below. It seems like it won't be available for a long time, so enjoy it while you can.
From their official Facebook page: "Locked in the confines of our respective caves - writing, creating and self-destructing, we are pleased to announce that work has begun on a follow up to Hatred For Mankind. In the interim, we wish to share with you a hideous and disfigured collaboration with our fellow wrongdoers in Gnaw Their Tongues. Produced and curated by M.C De Jong & Tom Dring.
This track will disappear tomorrow. Kill it. Announcements soon, the calm before the storm."
The only sad thing about this is that it's just 6 minutes instead of 40-60.
What a colossal sound... Could easily wipe out a lot of the competition when it comes to extreme metal this year.

Music was my life, music brought me to life and music is how I will be remembered long after I leave this life. When I die there will be a final waltz in my head that only I can hear.

Take it back. Widowmaker is insanity molded into plastic. Have you ever listened to that shit high? It's outerbody. It split the crowd for sure but jokes on those who expected another hatred for mankind, I have a lot of time for a band that does what the hell they want, these guys are outside the box, one of the best in doom, noise, bm, extreme music generally.....

You don't have to expect a Hatred For Mankind pt. 2 to get disappointed. I know that was my case.

Having to be high to find something good is not an indictment of the quality of the music in question, it just means you're high. Widowmaker was a let down for me.
