Yeah this is the word's second meaning! Maybe this is what they want to say! I am a greek so i can confirm that. to be precise, it is pronounced "loghos".

Finally listened ti this. It is really great but the vocals do not work for me.Also, there are not enough variations .The best part for me is production which gives an under the dust feeling to the whole record.

Bumped my rating up to a 9. Definitely one of the best albums this year.

It's simple... This album is a speech from hell!

Yes, this is total otherworldly shit... I feel like being transported somewhere. I am listening to this in the middle of the night and I actually want to switch the lights on for chrissakes.

The production on this is kind of ingenious, like its coming from some old crypt. It sounds like they put pillows in their bass drums or are using those drum mallets covered in fuzz to make it sound so distant and dusty.

Easy enough but Antediluvian means, "of or belonging to the time before the biblical Flood. Neato.

If you used antediluvian in part of a writing exam then thats pretty rad Words are cool though. One thing the English language is good for is exaggeration and over-the-topness!

Normally I'm one to praise the cavernous production on these death metal albums, but this... this is just too far into the cave. Some asshole once said something like "the cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek", but I didn't find any treasure here.

Now I'm curious.

Yeah, most people seem to feel that way about it as well. I dont get it personally. The songwriting and performance is just as good. The difference is the production. This one sounds more like... well... a fucking cave. It's goot more deep to it while the previous sounds a bit air like. A bit misty (sounds pretentious with all these words but bear with me). I personally like both productions and help to enjoy the albums for different reasons.

I have noticed that that is more or less only the case here on MS and not in the outside world, reallife and on forum such as NWN. Everyone I know in reallife who enjoys Antediluvian don't find there to be that much of a difference qualitywise between Logos and all its predecessors.

According to the votes I'm the only person on this site who thinks this album is bad.

Hmm, I don't remember what it sounds like - one of the many albums I need to revisit, although it's not close to the top of my priority list especially if it sounds similar to this.
