I am trying to remember the name of a melodic metal band. I believe they were from New Jersey and were active in the 1980's. They were more melodic than heavy (similar to Rick Santers Band). They were considered by some to be the founders of the early 1980's Melodic Metal genre.

when I read it my mind start play Runaway , so .... I guessed, but his description is dead end , non can figure out what he means, way to lass clues
