Big summoner fan. Looking for other bands similer in style (dark ambient atmosphere + bm)
I tried Satyricons Medieval Times...wasn't doing it for me.

I remember that The Meads Of Asphodel ( ) were labeled here as Medieval BM, although calling them experimental is more accurate. I doubt whether you'll like...

Yeah... the Meads do get called that, but except the themes and some interludes there isn't much medieval stuff going on...

If you want dark ambient atmosphere + BM try anything like L'Ordre duTemple, Emyn Muil, Caladan Brood or Elffor (and obviously Summoning if you aren't referring to them when you wrote "summoner"). More pagan oriented bands like Falkenbach might also work....

Whoops, yeah, I meant summoning.

I always felt that Abigor had a medieval touch to it.

His name is Rob Darken, he's always posing in epic medieval costumes. I haven't heard Lord Wind yet, I'll check it out.

Lustre ain't that medieval, but the atmosphere often reminds me of Summoning. Really beautiful stuff.

yeah i like lustre, and i don't often hear of other people who do, definitely not medieval though.
