Daniel de Jongh - Singer Joins Rock Opera Video Game Karmaflow

Have you ever heard of Karmaflow? Maybe the gamers have. Karmaflow will be a unique 3D platform/puzzle adventure game featuring several rock/metal singers, a band and the famous Dutch Metropole Orchestra. The game is a project led by Ivo van Dijk, drummer and composer for Xystus who wrote the rock opera Equilibrio in 2008. Many well known metal singers are part of the cast for the game and soundtrack and the latest one to be announced is Daniel de Jongh, Textures' vocalist. The goal is to release the game next year for PC/Mac.

Karmaflow is raising money through a crowdfunding campaign to be able to realize this interesting project. If you want to contribute, click here. The money is being raised to pay for the orchestra, sound recordings, CD pressing of the soundtrack, basically the music production.

List of singers who will be lending their voice to different characters in the game:

  • Marc Hudson (DragonForce)
  • Henning Basse (MaYaN)
  • Elize Ryd (Amaranthe)
  • Mark Jansen (Epica, MaYaN)

  • Dani Filth (Cradle Of Filth, Devilment)

"In a rich fantasy setting, you take on the role of the Karmakeeper, who is responsible for maintaining the balance in different worlds. You will travel to these worlds and have to save the Guardian Spirits that live there, by finding and unlocking the long lost Karmaflows."
