shame it doesn't say the amount of crap bands per 100,000 because then Finland would score really high again due to its crappy power metal

You remind me of one of those overly trying to be macho guys who is always saying "hell no I ain't gay or some shit!" who is secretly intensely homosexual and in the closet except with power metal.

Better than Norway's conglomerate of drama queen satanist wannabe black metal bands. Satanists usually don't go prancing about telling the world they're satanist... or go out of their way to look like Kiss after a makeup accident. XD

This stuff always makes me wish I lived in Europe. Even if most of the bands are black, death, and power metal it is a lot better than the over-saturation of core bands we have where I live, ha ha.

For me it's the rich culture, the wine and beer and the food as well as those maginificent metal festivals, the likes of which we've never seen in Australia.

Are shit power/black/death bands any better than shit core bands?

Personally I think Scandinavian metal and European metal in general was far healthier in the 1990s than it is today. There was far more exciting stuff going on and far less oversaturation.

Eh, I think it might be yeah. At least if I started a new band or moved mine over there. I mean, playing with all these core bands, or "beatdown" as they like to call themselves hear, it is essentially, "Oh, you play guitar solos instead of sick breakdowns? Fuck off we want no part of you."

And in terms of living in Europe it does definitely just seem like a more pleasant place to live than the US. I am sure even without all the amazing metal festivals I would still want to live there, ha ha.

No... he said ''Makes me wish I lived in Europe'' so it's safe to assume he's not German. Then, he's saying ''it is a lot better than the over-saturation of core bands we have where I live'' and once you click on his profile you see that he's actually from the US. So what I'm saying is that he does not acknowledge the huge amount of amazing thrash bands he has where he lives. That's what I meant. US thrash is the shit, also many good death bands.

Now if I misinterpreted what you said and you actually implied *What about German Thrash dude* It's safe to say that there's a lot more bands in the USA, I agree with you German Thrash is amazing, still I would go for US any day. Especially if you're a fan of Crossover like me, I mean; Suicidal, Methods of Mayhem, S.O.D., Cryptic Slaughter, Municipal Waste, Hirax, Cro-Mags, D.R.I., Leeway (...) Anyways, that's obviously just my opinion.
