It varies. I think in this case it ships out around the same time it is technically released, so we'll be able to listen to it on bandcamp before our copies arrive. The bandcamp page says "ships on or around April 29", so it is possible that we'll get our copies earlier.

Not bad... Curious about the extra artwork for the pre-orders. I always enjoyed his artworks for basically all his projects. Dude got a good eye.

Considering the price of the special vpre-order was exactly the same as the rgular album. It just looks so much better.

I think this record I heard in "None", so not a great idea that they streched with 7 songs. Apart from people going monkey nuts over cover art, i don't see anything this album qualifies for AOTY.

Honestly? Ancient Paths is ar better record than this. This is bit downgraded.

I haven heard the album yet, but I agree con Cynic it's getting hyped to the highest heavens on this site. That's totally fine, but I'm just waiting to hear it for myself and don't expect my mind to be blown.

Listened to it a few times... it's fucking amazing dammit.
EDIT: Holy fucking obscenity. This is good
EDIT2: I can feel so much emotion in this release, it's quite unlike Mories (excluding Seirom). Elements of sadness actually come out underneath the noise...it's fucking beautiful. I've listened to this 4 times now

Exactly man. This whole album is just filled with emotion, but it's still fucking savage. Definitely my favorite Cloak of Altering release, which is saying a ton

The album (with the nice-looking booklet as bonus) is finally home. Now I can just relax and blast this fucker to oblivion for my review.
I already heard it of course but it's nice to do it without distractions from my pc.

Here the BM and weird elements are balanced a lot better I think, Ancient Paths and The Night Comes Illuminated With Death were great, but felt tilted more towards one than the other. This is total 50/50. I may be biased though because of the artwork, because that's easily the best for the project yet.
