And now I suspect there will be a follow up review within the next few days.

Since we're on a French BM thread: "Je ne comprende pas"

Well.. They brought the cheese for sure. Everything from their band name to the names of their songs. I am not sure if they deliberately do that because they're French or what, but they are certainly full of cheese. The songs themselves well. They're uh... Okay... I suppose... I'm not a fan of it by any means whatsoever. Doesn't really resonate well with my vision of black metal as whole. I understand it is supposed to be atmospheric and all, but this just sounds sloppy in many ways. Particularly instrumentally. Again, I get it because of the whole "black metal" aspect but there is a complete lack of execution that goes along with this particular band that is rather unpleasant. The music composition is about as loose as a cheap prostitute giving birth.

Well seeing what Lord Grim's favourite bands are I am totally not surprised by his statement here on The Great Old ONes and also not by his statement about Vanhelgd's new streaming song.

Curious to know what exactly are your visions of black metal?
Part way through this now and seems like they're really living up to their potential. Great, dense soundscape of dissonance and harmony intertwining. Anything but sloppy, for sure, from my perspective.
