Avant-garde doom according to metal archives

Experimental doom according to metal archives

Actually Aarni are the only band of that bunch I've listened to. (and An Autumn for Crippled Children actually)

Those two (Aarni and AAFCC) are the only ones I have heard of the bands you just linked to, as well.

I might have a quick explore of some of those bands at some point, just to see if they live up to the name of avant-garde or experimental.

Maybe stuff like Dolorian, Valborg (in lieu of Triptykon/Celtic Frost), Brown Jenkins, some Orthodox, Rose Kemp, Öxxö Xööx, maybe even Oxbow if you want to push it.

I don't really see Dolorian fitting in too well amongst the other bands mentioned (although I don't know them all).
