Within Temptation - New Video Online

Dutch group Within Temptation is releasing the fourth video off their latest album Hydra. After "Paradise (What About Us)", "Dangerous" and "Whole World Is Watching", now it's the time for "And We Run", featuring the rapper Xzibit. You can enjoy the video below and tell us if you liked this one.

Trivia: the four videos released off Hydra are for the four songs featuring guest vocalists: ex-Killswitch Engage Howard Jones in "Dangerous", Tarja Turunen in "Paradise (What About Us)", Soul Asylum's Dave Pirner (or Piotr Rogucki from Coma in the Polish version) in "Whole World Is Watching" and, now, Xzibit.

I'm sorry people didn't dig the album, since I absolutely loved it.

About the video... let's just skip this, eh?

I enjoyed the record, except for Tarja I disliked all the guest vocalists, especially this one.

It's foul and repugnant, utterly displeasing in every way.

WT have been crossing over into rock for years - hell, 50% of Hydra was rock. Guess it sells better.

WT videos are always a bit over-the-top, but it seems like they have the money to do "bigger productions". So good on them.

It is not considered metal at all.
Nevertheless, this website still posts updates on bands like this even when some have quit doing metal long ago. I keep wondering who would come to this site to read news about The Gathering -for instance, but still you may find news on them from time to time

I was asking because I was checking the band's profile and they are still tagged as symphonic Gothic metal, and there's nothing symphonic, Gothic or metal at all in their music. There hasn't been any since a very long time I suppose. Anyway I don't mind finding news about them I just don't like tagging them as metal, not anymore at least. I know I sound uptight but come on there's Xzibit in this song

What's it with pop stars doing duets with shit rappers?

Well, bands and artists tend to want to get their name out there, expose themselves to different audiences and expand their fanbase. Duets are one way of doing that.

Do I get a cookie now?

I'm actually quite indifferent to this song. I like how the video spells out the song's contrast though.
