They're charging almost 50 euro for their gig in Utrecht, Vredenburg, fucking outrageously high for a band of this stature.

Do they think you're all rich or what? Only Metallica charges that here in Portugal. Even Iron Maiden have good prices but I know it varies from country to country. Most concert tickets here are around 20 Euros, or 30 Euros if it is like a bill of 4 bands like Prog Nation, Priest Feast and the likes.

50 Euros? That works out to almost $75 Canadian.

Would much rather spend that on tickets to a Marlies game.

even 35 I find ridiculous. For a band such as Machine Head I would say about 20 - 25 euros for a venue the size of the new Vredenburg in Utrecht

I remember that their show in Paris during the Unto the Locust tour with a couple other crappy bands was already 50 euro

Worst of all is they sell out venues.... no wonder they make 3million bucks on tours :

If they would only plaay songs off their first two albums I might even consider going Especially since Burn My eyes is one of the very best albums of that year.

I was going to say that when I saw them in Sydney in Feb 2012 they played "Old", "Davidian" and "Ten Ton Hammer", but then I realised you probably want them to ONLY play songs from the first two albums. If that is the case, I can understand you wanting that, but it will never happen.

Regular ticket prices around here in Norway is 45-60 euro for bands of normal popularity (Anything from Mayhem and Cannibal Corpse to Dragenforce and Amaranthe). Bands like Maiden and Metallica charge around 110-20 euro for their tickets. Also the same case with DJ's and top mainstream artists, which is sick since many of them usually don't "play" anything themself.
