So, turns out those kawaii horrors Babymetal aren't the only ones to have fused J-pop with metal.

BiS (Brand-new idol Society, for the few who care) are what are called "alternative idols". Don't know about anyone else, but I find them strangely listenable.

Redn1ght's gonna kill me for this, but a couple of years ago, they hooked up with noise mongers Hijokaiden and formed BiS Kaidan. The fruit of this unholy union is... well, see for yourselves.

Wow. You actually created a topic for it =P
Fusion j pop + metal is far from new. You can find a lot if you look enough through the genres Visual key, J metal or vocaloid. Babymetal just managed to become famous.
To cite a few:
Death Rabbit
Dazzle Vision
Oreoreusagi
Pizuya's Cell
Kokumaromilk
Yousei Teikoku

And so on...

Of what I've heard, this sounds exactly like Babymetal.. Except these chicks are on some serious acid or something

It's "interesting" but not for me... I did not enjoy the dozen songs I tried on Youtube. They're more shocking in the stupid way and not catchy (despite the wide variety of the songs). And they don't pre-date Babymetal, they popped around the same time.

Right you are. Better fix that.
