In what originally started as the main closing event with Týr two years ago, the epic Finnish Viking metal band Moonsorrow have been announced to headline the end of next year's York Viking festival. This will be Moonsorrow's first ever UK headlining show to date.

Support will come from Sheffield-based champions of flute-orientated folk metal Northern Oak, and local mercenary metal troupe Sellsword.

The show will take place on Friday, 20th of February 2015 at Fibbers in York. Tickets for the show are priced at £16 and will be available from Asgard Events Promotion website. The show is 14+.
